September 11, 2008-January 3, 2009 A BRITISH SALUTE TO 9/11: HANDS ACROSS THE WATER
A Photographic Exhibition

The New York City Police Museum and the British Memorial Garden Trust, Inc. are presenting an exhibition of works by renowned British police photographer Neil Kitson showcasing the 9/11 New York City ceremonies honoring the victims of the World Trade Center tragedy. Some 400 British Police Officers attended the ceremonies from 2002 through 2008, acting as an Honor Guard for their fallen comrades and countrymen.
Neil Kitson’s photography will be on display from September 11, 2008 to January 3, 2009 at the New York City Police Museum, 100 Old Slip New York City.

HALCYON DAYS PRESENTS THE BRITISH MEMORIAL GARDEN PORCELAIN BOX AND VOTIVE CANDLE HOLDER

In a special agreement with Halcyon Days, the London shop specializing in antique and contemporary collector’s items, the British Memorial Garden Trust, Inc. has helped create a lovely Bilston & Battersea porcelain box and complementary porcelain votive candle holder. Halcyon Days is a leading specialist in objet d’arts and one of only seven companies to hold all four Royal Warrants.
The box features an image of the garden on the top with the Memorial Fence railing around the edge, and inside has the British and American flags flanked by the motto, “Reflect, Remember, Rebuild.” On the inside bottom is the British Memorial Garden logo rose. The votive candle holder illustrates the distinctive topiaries which are a key feature of the British Memorial Garden design.
The box a limited edition of 150, and will be sold through Halcyon Days’ Brook Street shop in London or online at www.halcyon-days.co.uk. A portion of the proceeds of sales go to support the British Memorial Garden at Hanover Square.
