September 11, 2009 SEPTEMBER 11 CONCERTS AND CEREMONIES

Our annual concerts and ceremonies will take place simultaneously on September 11 in both Hanover Square, New York and Grosvenor Square, London. These events are organized in association with The September Concert.
On April 21, 2009, President Barack Obama signed into law the Edward M. Kennedy Serve America Act, which establishes September 11 as an annually recognized National Day of Service and Remembrance.
September-November, 2009 BRITISH MEMORIAL GARDEN TROPHY" CHALLENGE

Join in the excitement as entered teams battle for supremacy on the soccer fields of Chelsea Piers. The finals will be followed by a reception, details of which will be announced later in the year. To register for this event or to find out more about the Soccer Challenge, call 212 861-1871.
November 11, 2009 REMEMBRANCE DAY

Rembembrance Day will be observed in the British Memorial Garden at 10:30 a.m. on November 11, 2009.
November 11, 2009 VICTORIAN CELEBRATION

Don't miss our popular Victorian Celebration, to be held at 6:00 p.m. on December 7, 2009. With holiday caroling and a tree lighting, followed by a reception, this is an event for all the family.

HALCYON DAYS PRESENTS THE BRITISH MEMORIAL GARDEN PORCELAIN VOTIVE CANDLE HOLDER, NAPKIN RINGS AND DECORATIVE BOX

In a special agreement with Halcyon Days, the London shop specializing in antique and contemporary collector’s items, the British Memorial Garden Trust, Inc. has helped create three lovely items in support of the garden. Available now are a Bilston & Battersea porcelain votive candle holder, pair of napkin rings and decorative box.
Halcyon Days is a leading specialist in objet d’arts and one of only seven companies to hold all four Royal Warrants.
All these items, designed by Halcyon artist Christopher Quaile, display the distinctive topiaries which are a key feature of the British Memorial Garden design.
These items are available directly from the British Memorial Garden Trust, Inc. A portion of the proceeds of sales go to support the British Memorial Garden at Hanover Square. The napkin rings are available as a boxed set of two at $95 and the candle is priced at $115. The porcelain box will be available from June 15, 2009.
